Coffee ETC @ Oasis Square Ara Damansara

Been passing by this cafe called Coffee ETC but never really get to try it because they used to only open until 8pm. And today i passed by this cafe again and its still opened. So decided to give it a try and only realised they already extend their business hours until 11pm. yay!

Since i have not had my dinner yet, thinking to have a light food there, so i ordered an egg croissant and a strong ice latte.

My egg croissant (RM8.90). Tastes good and its in quite a big size though. Love it.

Iced latte (RM10.90)..You can choose either its just normal or slightly stronger. Of course slightly stronger one for me hehe.

Not just coffee but also a good place for you to get your meal settled here. From cakes, pasta, pastries, cakes and even rice..Awesome environment too with nice music, but one thing i feel for this place is the food is slightly overpriced though.

Sadly i couldn’t find their Facebook page.

Its located at Oasis Square Ara Damansara, hidden at a corner lots where most people don’t pass by. Its located right opposite to Epiphany Cafe and same row with 7-11.

Tryst Cafe @ SS15

I have never heard of this place until i came across with a blog post and decided to give it a hunt. Yes its located at Subang SS15. If you are familiar with that area, its just located opposite Pelita Restaurant or just a few shops beside KFC.

Looking at their menu, i would say their price is reasonable. They are not only serving coffee and cakes, its also a great place for you to settle your breakfast or lunch or even dinner.

So i ordered their hot chocolate since i’m craving for it. Today is not a coffee day haha. Hehe i love the art. Btw, i LOVE their hot chocolate. Everything taste just right and the temperature was perfect!

One plus point for it was one of the barista actually came towards and asked how’s their hot chocolate, issit anything to improve on or what. (Y)

As you can see, their interior was not that great and nice compared to other more decent cafes, things were rather messy though. But i would definitely visit here again to try on their coffee!

Coffee lovers, you should really give here a try!

Burgertory @ SS15 Subang

If you guys have read my post about expressing my love to myBurgerLab, yes you will know that how much i love their burgers and how famous their burgers are in PJ!

But during college days, i almost pass by this place called Burgertory everyday. And my friends told me they provide good burgers as well!

Finally i tried it! Met up with the usual besties! It has been long time 6 of us never really meet up together, bud sadly another 2 couldn’t make it, if not it’ll be perfect..But nonetheless we all don’t wan to miss out a good chance to hang out on FRIDAY! 6 of us driving all from different locations after work(Mont Kiara, SS2, Damansara, Sunway, KLCC, Timesquare) and met up at Subang. lol.

Good times.

The interior..Yeap its kinda with limited seats also.

And this is mine! I ordered SKIPPY BACON! (RM18)

Mine is ala carte set though and if you want them in set (fries and free flow soft drinks), you have to top up additional RM5.

I love beef but trying not to eat it though so this is why i ordered pork burger. But then, I’m A BACON LOVER TOO! lol. Look at the bacon..Gosh. And yes, the bacon are covered with peanut butter also. Wow, perfect combination.

Ok, i personally really love this burger. Burgertory and myBurgerLab have their own best parts, so i shouldn’t compare them together at the first place. If you are burger lover, you should seriously pay your visit to Burgertory as well!

For price wise, i think its still a reasonable price for all the burger joints like that. Environment wise, Burgertory wins! Unlike myBurgerLab, its noisy and you know you have to leave immediately once you finish eating because got stressed over the queue, and also ventilation system is quite bad that you will smell like a burger after you enter the place.

Burgetory is not just a great place for you enjoy your burger, but also good  place to chill  with friends/ family. And you also have a bigger space for you to move around and not so noisy as well. Most importantly, they have a great ventilation system. Its a really comfortable place to dine in.

Too bad i arrived late and everyone’s already started eating. and they said they never snapped their burger pic! AHHH! so no other burger pics for you to drool on.

Its located at the same row with Maybank, CIMB bank. Its on the first floor though, upstairs Guardian.

Anyway, i do really think myBurgerLab and Burgertory are the best burger joints in town. The rest are just so-so i guess. These two really worth for your time and money!

Home Town Steamboat @ Kota Damansara

Finally had my steamboat craving fixed! I think the last time i had steamboat is on last year? lol.

Always passed by but didnt really get to eat here.

Yeap its Home Town Steamboat @ Kota Damansara!

We ordered 3 pax ( RM15.50/set). As usual, prawns, crab meat stick, tofu, fishball, eggs etc.

And 2 sets of pork slice! Yumzz..(RM7.90/set)

and we had both Tom yam and clear soup base..nom nom..I love their Tom yam. Spicy enough for me. 🙂

I heard about their signature claypot porridge too but never get to try.

For steamboat price wise, i think its reasonable, that is why they are FULL HOUSE most of the time. Its like only RM10-15 per pax when other place it costs you like around RM20 or even more. One of the reason is that, this is not a steamboat buffet. But still its enough to fill your empty stomach. And food was up to standard too.

They have other outlets in PJ and KL. You can visit their Facebook page for more information.

K3K Benta Kaya (桂三记)

Passed by the place for so many times and today decided to drop by there and see what they have.

As usual they have all the toasts (afterall its famous with their kaya), and quite a variety of drinks..Other than light food, you can also grab your proper meal here too!

I ordered this. They named it as 2 in 1..6 small slices on a plate (RM3).

This taste really good for me =)

For their drink, i just ordered teh panas..Weather is too cold to order cold drinks lol..But i heard they are famous for some food and drinks like their Roti Jala and coffee.. Next time should try it out.

I think overall price was still reasonable for a cafe like this..

They have indoor and outdoor seatings. Smokers, still welcomed. 🙂 Its a great place to chill out with your friends if you run out of ideas where to go lol..

Wifi is available.

You can visit their Facebook page or website for more info. They have a few other outlets too! Check them out.

San Nae Deul Korean Bbq

I’m a Korean food lover! But even so, i hardly visit to Korean restaurant..Finally my craving has been fixed after soooooo long..

This time is San Nae Deul @ Oasis Ara Damansara! Its located at the upstairs. =)

photo 1

We were in their VIP room as we have 13 of us here. Nom nom!!!

Ahh..Drooling by just looking at them. My kimchi, lettuce! lol

Ok, no more photo after i start eating haha..As usual, korean food never fail to disappoint me.

I loveeee their kimchi! Somehow i actually prefer the kimchi here to Daorae Korean BBQ. The rest i would say almost the same..Their soup also taste great, still able to taste the seafood essence. Food wise, im really happy with it!

As for their service, i personally think they should get one more person to serve us. The waiter serving us is already quick enough, but still too busy to cope with 13 of us..From start until finish eating, he’s serving us NON STOP.. But still, at least he still manage to serve all of us. *thumbs up*

We are dining in the room, i feel the ventilation was pretty bad. At Daorae, there’s something like this, so you don’t actually feel the whole place is stuffy.

But here its just the normal ventilation system, imagine 3 grilling spots were active at the same time in the small room..We even have to sacrifice the air-conditioning and open their windows to get rid of the stuffy air..It feels warmer but at least we feel better lol. When the grilling is done, then only we close back their window..

Yeap, i guess thats all? Oh ya.. Price..If im not wrong, its RM347..RM347 for 13 of us, i think its still quite cheap for a korean bbq..If you are looking for a good korean food, i guess this is the right place for you!

I think they have other branches at Puchong and Mont Kiara too.

Ah Wet Thai Cafe

Last year i have blogged about this Ah Roy Thai food, but in fact there’s another branch with a almost similar but different name at Yulek.

Baked sotong

Famous pineapple fried rice

Steam fish

Pork!! OMG THIS IS DA BOMB! just damn delicious!

Seriously all the food are really nice, no joke. Their pork, chicken, sotong, fish is a MUST to order..

If you happened to be around here, its a must to try..Not only this, they have other seafood like crab as well!

Sun May Hiong Pork Satay

Me as a Malaccan, hardly blog anything about Melaka food even though there’re tonnes of good food around!

But i guess slowly Im going to update some. =) Just search “Melaka” in the search bar in the future, im sure you can find some soon.

However, i’m only back to Melaka like once/twice in a month, and i don’t bring my DSLR along. All these are just taken using my iPhone 4..

Well i guess the places are more important rather than how good the photo can be right lol.

I guess Satay is also one of the must-eat food when you having your vacation at Melaka.

Yeah, this is the pork satay!

This place is quite famous among the other satay stalls, and u can see a lot of tourists visited there even though its located in a quite hidden place if you are not from Melaka.

Yeah other than pork satay, they have chicken as well. and also pig intestines.

What i like about the satay is the meat is still quite juicy despite the grilling time..and basically you no need to order how many sticks you want, because once you sit down, they will deliver you around 10+ sticks. Once you finish, they will keep delivering until you ask for a stop.

Good strategy eh, because its really nice and people always lost count on how many sticks they have eaten lol. So they are encouraging a non-stop-eating habit on you hahaa.

Price wise, RM0.70 for each stick. I guess its still reasonable though.

F Cup Dessert

Me as a Malaccan, hardly blog anything about Melaka food even though there’re tonnes of good food around!

But i guess slowly Im going to update some. =) Just search “Melaka” in the search bar in the future, im sure you can find some soon.

However, i’m only back to Melaka like once/twice in a month, and i don’t bring my DSLR along. All these are just taken using my iPhone 4..

Well i guess the places are more important rather than how good the photo can be right lol.

Unlike KL, Melaka don’t have much variety on dessert shop. and i have been to 2-3..But they don really fancy me much. lol

So yeah, there’s this dessert shop called F CUP DESSERT who has just opened a branch in Bukit Cina. To those who are familar with Melaka, its just located beside the most famous Capitol Satay Celup @ Bukit Cina.  To those who are not familiar, you can just tell the taxi driver/ trishaw man/ search on GPS “BUKIT CINA”. =)

After you had your satay celup, you can just drop by the dessert shop beside! lol

Passion snow ice.

Durian snow ice (RM9.90) . I’m a durian lover and i can hardly get any durian ice in town..somehow this remind of Tong Pak Fu as well and i like it =)

They have quite a lot of variety of desserts and their price range was around RM6.90 – RM10++.. depends on the type and size you ordered.

They also provide 6 different portion for their dessert, from A Cup, B Cup to F Cup..Lol sounds awkward right i know.

Well, i think its worth giving it a try if you love fruits desserts.

Coffea Coffee @ SS15

Been hearing about this place recently..with their Peanut Butter Latte. Yeap! Peanut butter..I’m a peanut butter lover and i get freaking excited for this lol.

Decided went with my another coffee lover friend, Zac. I even get treat from him lol.

Yes its located at Subang SS15! They have another branch in Bangsar though.

In Subang SS15, its just located at one of the shop lots facing directly to Neway Karaoke..Super easy to find.

The interior.

So we ordered two peanut butter latte. (RM12/each)

I love this! A normal latte that is more milky and don’t have too much coffee smell in it..Well the peanut butter taste is not that strong as what i expect. Will try to ask if we can ask for more amount next time haha..But still i think its very nice! Really worth for the try.

They are really good in their coffee art also. I heard you can request coffee art from them..Like panda, lion, butterfly etc. Next time i shall order a cappuccino and request something nice! hahhaa..

JUST ENJOY. Their slogan lol
Environment wise, there’re downstairs and upstairs to be seated. I kinda love their wooden interior look.
If you are a smoker, no worries. Upstairs there’s a section for you too. They don’t discriminate! =)
But one thing is that i feel it’s a bit noisy. Lol, all the customers are talking too loud. It will be perfect if the place can be slightly more peaceful so we can enjoy the coffee better. loll
Yup, overall i think its a really good place..Definitely going to pay my second visit there soon.

myBurgerLab @ Seapark

You know..When you are staying in PJ, how can you dont know about BurgerLab right?! Been to quite a few famous burger shops around Subang, so wanted to give myself a try for this most famous burger =)

So we decided to go there for dinner today.

The shop opened at 5pm and believe it onot. There’re people queuing before the shop opens. So we think its better to go there slightly later, like almost 7pm.

Its located at Seapark SS2..When we reached, homaigosh. The queue is super long until the next few shops and inside the shop is cramped with people. We actually waited for more than 30 mins to order.

This is what i ordered. Its called “SayCheese Chicken”..Comes in a set with fries and refillable drinks..Of course all the burgers they provided can choose either beef or chicken. (RM17)

*They also told me they have some secret menu that is not listed in the menu board..Its something like “Elvis burger” or what..Forgotten lol…Just ask them for the secret menu burgers if you want to order*

So how is their burger actually? I think its really nice with the very juicy and thick chicken. And the bread, its very soft and nice to eat because usually sometimes the burgers we eat out there is either the chicken is too hard, bread is too dry etc. But in here, everything is really nicely made! Plus eating with the cheese, homaigosh. Juicy level +1

But just after this one burger, we all feel so damn full! But of course very satisfying=)

*credit to myBurgerLab facebook*

The interior of the shop.

The queue before the shop opens.

After we finish eating, we leave immediately as there’re still a long queue that need a seat.

So if you are there next time, be more considerate and give out ur place to the others once u finish eating haha..

If you are in PJ and still havent been here before, GIVE IT A TRY!!!

Dinner @ Spaghetti Grill

Dinner at Spaghetti Grill, Paradigm Mall just now.

We ordered the dinner set at around RM16++..Its kinda cheap though..If it comes in ala-carte, whole set will cost around RM30+.

The appertizer..Chicken mushroom soup. Another option is Pumpkin soup.

No joke. But this is just super nice! Not a big fan of mushroom soup, but this actually makes me feel like having another bowl. The taste not too strong and the ingredients is a lot! (Y)!

Main course..The seafood pasta. Uhm..Looks ok though..But frankly speaking the taste is not there yet.

For ala-carte, this cost RM29.

The desserts..One scoop of ice

And the set include soft drinks also.

Other than the set one, we also order…

Pepperoni pizza.

Not sure what is this call..With grilled chicken..The chicken taste good though..

Aglio olio..

All the one that is not included in the set cost RM20+

Uhm..Food still acceptable..But the price is too high for the satisfaction we had..

The dinner set still acceptable..Kinda worth it. Just that they really have to improve their food.

Dinner @ Grafa

Joined in the plan for dinner suddenly with feli, ben and eileen..Been a long time didnt really catch up esp with feli..

So we went Grafa at SS15.

If you wish to know why they have such unique interior, maybe you should read their website =)

Ben and I was there since 7.15..and we waited for two of them for 2 hours plus as they were stuck in the massive traffic jam..damn..luckily the 2 hours passed quite fast though..

K lets talk about the food..

I ordered Tomyam seafood fried rice as Im so sick of good but ingredients are a lil too less with that price (RM10).

Ben ordered this, Sloppy Joe (RM12)..

Burger with minced meat with fries also..Taste good..But its a lil hard to eat coz its too sloppy lol

Feli’s Sloppy Jane (RM12)

Yes a bunch of minced meat with garlic bread and fries

Eileen’s beef burger ( RM25)

Beef burger with cheese, fries, and ham..

Two of them left me and Feli until 11pm only we went back. Yeah their operating hours until 12am!

Other than burger and rice, they offered pasta, chinese cuisine too.

Yes i think they have awesome coffee as well.

Ambience not bad and service is good too..

Dinner @ Marche

Dinner at Marche @ The Curve just now. Before i enter, i actually thought its a normal restaurant but its not. Its more to like a market place. Get in and get an ordering paper and start walking around to order your food.

There’re a lot of stations of each diff type of food like pizza, spagetthi, chicken chop, salad, soup etc.

We ordered chicken chops, mushroom soup, sausage, salad, rosti etc.

My chicken chop. Very small size and it costs almsot RM15.

This is how it looks like inside.

Hmm..Well, quite expensive the food there. Environment so so..

And food..Still acceptable..Worth the try for one time. lol

Dinner @ Ahroy Thai Cuisine

Treat from uncle before the mid autum celebration at his house =) It’s my 2nd / 3rd time been here. But didnt do a review before.

13 of us went =)

Lets go one by one

Grilled Sotong wrapped with something inside and there’s sauce prepared beside. This is really really nice!

Salad? =) Combination of the fresh vege and the ingredients just taste heavenly.

Tomyam soup with seafood..Unlike some other tomyam that i had out there..Its either too sour, too spicy, not enough tomyam base etc. But this one just nice! At least its good for me.

Uhm..whats this..Its pandan chicken! Its wrapped in pandan leaves and the marination enhance the taste so much! The chicken is also cooked nicely. Not too hard.

Pineapple fried rice!

Sweet and sour fish.

Overall the food is really nice.. At least for me! Service not bad too!

Just that price is slightly high though. But worth for the try.

p/s: Go there around 6 will be good. Too late you will have to wait.

At night only back from college yesterday doing my modeling..And this morning woke up at 7 to meet up with SB at college to continue our modeling. Sacrificed so much sleep. Didnt get much critique from my rough modeling and this is the more detailed one.

seriously wth..Im not sure its my problem or what..But it took me 5-6 hours to refine such little thing..What i can hope is there’s nothing wrong with my topology. Thats it.

After that back home to take a nap before my parents arrived at KL.

Evening we went to Tomoe, a Japanese restaurant in Subang for my birthday pre celebration dinner =)

And of coz cake from Baskin Robbins cannot be lacked of .

Me and daddy mommy ❤

Self entertaining

While waiting for food to come..

Food time!!

Daddy enjoying his oyster =))

The cake! Nice!

Family shot. ❤

Not bad..Price is still quite reasonable..Rm340 for everything.

Of coz thanks to my sis and bf for the treat!

Restoran Lan Je 蘭姐非洲魚

Hmm..Decided to have dinner at 蘭姐非洲魚..This is my second time and the first time for my family members.

The last time is having at Cheras branch with friends. Now its the branch at Kota Damansara.

So curious why there’re so many fishes on the table? Yes here everyone ordered one fish for each person. Usually we don’t share.

And they only have one type of cooking method which is steam. But you can choose if you wan it to be spicy or non-spicy.

Each fish is Rm15.90 and other than fish, there’re still some other dishes you can ordered as well.

Its very famous in KL and i think a lot already ate there before..

We all like it and you should try if you haven’t.

Dinner @ Portugese Settlement

Another pending post.

Last week came back from KL and we went to the long-time-no-go place to eat.

Portugese Settlement.

Most of you that been to Malacca before should know this place right?

Last time the view and ambience is super duper awesome, its more to like a floating restaurant and the whole environment very woody tpye..But now after all the dumb development from the government, its bad now, real bad.

Cut it short. Make it to the food.

this is the best for me.

but then..overall they don get a thumbs up from us and we feel that we might visit there much lesser. Doesnt taste like last time anymore.

If you are frequent customer of Portugese settlement, which stall do you like the most and what food is recommended from that particular stall?

Do share with us! =)

fyi, Portugese Settlement has around 10 stalls.

Nadeje Cafe Dataran Pahlawan

Went to try out Nadeje at dataran pahlawan just now. since everyone is like keep talking about it and as a malaccan, i din even try that at kl for almost 2 years and only came back like once a month or twice a month so don blame me for not being updated about stuffs in malacca k hahahaha.

Not sure if its during CNY period or what la..FULL! and the queue is super duper long..even have to wait for 10 mins to get our seat..

the space also very small..*thumbs down*

so we ordered 4 slices..each slice rm9.expensive huh..

banana chocolate, original and mango.

its diff from the other cake coz its more to like a crepe which made up with so many layers and i love the texture..what i don like is there’re too much of cream and very fast to get tired of it..

its pricey but still worth for a try if u didnt taste it before..=)
